John Tamayo – Imperial County
John is an outside sales representative for Rain for Rent, working with farmers and ranchers to provide irrigation solutions in the Northern Imperial Valley, Coachella Valley, Borrego Springs and Blythe areas. He has been active in the agriculture industry since a young age when he would help his dad deliver crop applications. He attended Imperial Valley College and the University of Arizona, Yuma, earning a bachelor’s degree in agricultural systems management. John also serves on the California Young Farmers & Rancher State Committee, representing District 10.
Samantha Piehoff – Sonoma County
Samantha is the operations manager at the Sonoma County Farm Bureau. She has more than a decade of expertise in business management and a deeply rooted passion for agriculture. Samantha is a fourth-generation Sonoma County agriculturist and has devoted her career to ensuring that Sonoma County agriculture grows and thrives through her skills in program and financial management.
Miranda Jachens – El Dorado County Miranda is a dedicated agriculturists serving the greater El Dorado County area. She is actively involved in her community as a volunteer sheep leader for her county's 4-H program, is a member of the County Livestock Auction Committee and is the secretary of the El Dorado County Farm Bureau. Miranda earned a degree in agricultural business, with minors in animal science and business administration, from California State University, Chico.
David Perry – Glenn County
David is a fourth-generation rice farmer in Princeton. He also owns a trucking operation that hauls rice, nuts, fruit, aggregate and cement powder. Alongside his father, David has been growing rice on the family farm since 2003. He graduated from California State University, Chico, with a degree in agriculture business.
Alicia Muhr – San Diego County
Alicia has had a deep passion for agriculture since a young age. As the office manager at San Diego County Farm Bureau, she is eager to support and learn from all that the organization offers. She has been an active volunteer in 4-H, youth sports, the PTA and local rodeos, to name a few. She is committed to advocating for her community and supporting the farming families of Southern California.
Tharvin Gill – Yuba Sutter
Born and raised in Yuba City, Tharvin is the Western region vice president relationship manager for Conterra Ag Capital. He has diverse experience in commercial and agricultural lending. He has been surrounded by agriculture his entire life through his family’s involvement in both production and agricultural real estate.
Alexis Harvey – Solano County
Alexis is a crop consultant for Grow West, an account manager for Dixon Bee Co., a pollination consultant for Beewise and the manager of Bedoya Orchards. As a crop consultant, she works with growers in different commodities, such as processing tomatoes, alfalfa, sunflowers, beans, vine seeds and almonds. Alexis has a pest control advisor license and writes recommendations to clients to improve their agricultural practices. At Dixon Bee Co., she maintains customer relations and manages the company contracts and day-to-day operations. At Bedoya Orchards, Alexis oversees all orchard operations including pruning, groundwork, fertilization, pest management and irrigation.
Harley Ramirez – Shasta County
Harley is the manager of Sunbelt Rentals, where he helps provide rental equipment to local and regional farmers, ranchers, contractors and others. Prior to this, he worked for Peterson Tractor and AGCO Corp., where he honed his skills in sales and product training. Harley is a veteran, having served in both the U.S. Army and California National Guard. He is an alumnus of California State University, Chico, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural education, a teaching credential and a master’s degree in business administration.
