CDFW Reports Wolf Activity Expansion into Kern County
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has posted its Quarterly Wolf News Updates: April - June 2025 (PDF), a new Approximate Area of Gray Wolf Activity Map (July 2025) (PDF), and an updated version of the Known Wolves - July 2025 (PDF).Among other highlights is the news that there were two dispersing wolves in the Tehachapi Mountains in Kern County.
