USDA Launches New Regenerative Ag Pilot Program

On Wednesday, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced that $700 million would be used for a regenerative pilot program to help farmers adopt practices that improve soil health, enhance water quality and boost long-term productivity. The program, developed following efforts from the Make American Healthy Again Commission, will focus on whole-farm conservation practices. According to USDA, interested producers are encouraged to apply through their local Natural Resources Conservation Service center by their state’s ranking dates for consideration in fiscal year 2026 funding. In addition, companies interested in partnering with USDA on the program can email regenerative@usda.gov for more information.
