California Farm Bureau’s state policy advocacy team will provide a comprehensive look back at the two-year legislative session that recently concluded, highlighting key developments, significant legislative outcomes and issues that were important to California Farm Bureau and its members. Advocacy in Action Live covered a recap of the full two-year session, including an overview of the legislation Farm Bureau actively engaged in and the impact of those efforts. The team discussed the bills that remain in motion and making their way to the governor’s desk, including those in which Farm Bureau is taking a position and requesting for either the governor’s signature or veto.

California's legislative session ended Sept. 1. The second year of a two-year session saw more than 4,000 pieces of legislation introduced. In the final year, more than 800 bills still await the governor's signature by the end of September.
