SB 1064 Reducing Frequency of Heavy-Duty Vehicle Emissions Testing Awaits Governor Signature

California Farm Bureau submitted a letter earlier this week asking Gov. Newsom to sign Senate Bill 1064 by state Sen. Megan Dahle, R-Bieber, into law. Farmers and ranchers, specifically those in rural areas, are most burdened by frequent emissions testing. SB 1064 provides relief by adjusting the Clean Truck Check program to limit emissions testing to no more than annually for qualifying heavy-duty vehicles.
