House Agriculture Committee Advances "Skinny" Farm Bill

Last week, the House Agriculture Committee passed the Farm, Food and National Security Act of 2026. A “skinny” farm bill, the legislation would provide a much-needed boost for agricultural producers across the country. The bill includes new and direct benefits to the specialty crop industry while adding new funding for additional market access, forestry and wildfire mitigation programs, risk management tools and others.
