White House Announces Ease in Agricultural Equipment Tariffs

At the beginning of the week, the White House announced the easing of tariffs around agricultural equipment and other industrial equipment through the end of 2027. This includes reducing the agricultural equipment tariff from 25% to 15%, expanding it to include mobile industrial equipment such as bulldozers and forklifts from certain countries, and a reduced duty rate for foreign companies that use at least 85% U.S. steel in their products.
