California Farm Bureau joined an <a href="https://mura.cfbf.com/sites/cfbv2/assets/Image/Advocacy%20in%20Action/FungicideStrategyCommentExtensionRequest06.10.26.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">extension request</a> in a letter to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency this week, urging it to consider a 90-day deadline extension for a comment period on its [Draft Fungicide Strategy](https://www.epa.gov/pesticides/epa-seeks-public-comment-draft-strategy-better-protect-endangered-species). The measure is intended to identify practical, science-based protections that fungicide users can adopt to safeguard more than 1,000 federally endangered and threatened species. Farm Bureau has previously commented on past strategies, urging consideration on the impacts agricultural producers could face from overly onerous and complicated regulatory requirements.
