Reminder: Deadlines for Clingstone Peach Diversion Program and Safety-Net Programs

California Farm Bureau wants to remind members of two upcoming deadlines. One is for the Agriculture Risk Coverage and Price Loss Coverage programs, which have an Aug. 31 deadline to review base allocations.
The other is for the Clingstone Peach Diversion Program, which will receive applications through Sept. 1. In last week’s letter, Farm Bureau noted the creation of this program, which will provide reimbursements to producers for the voluntary removal of peach trees.
