Reminder: Acreage Reporting for Specialty Crop Assistance Program – Deadline April 24

As a reminder, two weeks ago, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced the reopening of acreage reporting for the Assistance for Specialty Crop Farmers program. This is the funding from the $1 billion set aside via the $12 billion Farmer Bridge Assistance program. The link above provides a list of eligible specialty crops. Members are highly encouraged to determine their eligibility for this one-time, acreage-based assistance. Eligible applicants must report their 2025 acreage figures to their local Farm Service Agency office by the new deadline of April 24.
