The U.S. Department of Agriculture recently announced nominations are being accepted for the Forestry Research Advisory Council, which will help advise the agriculture secretary on all matters relating to proposed forestry research. The committee will be composed of 20 members approved by the secretary, dispersed across different backgrounds. Interested individuals may self-apply, but please reach out if you have interest in being nominated on behalf of California Farm Bureau.
