California Farm Bureau Joins Letter on H-2A Processing Delays
Published Friday, April 10, 2026
Last week, California Farm Bureau joined several agricultural organizations in a letter to Trump administration officials raising concerns about delays in processing H-2A visa applications. Recent months have seen an increase in reported challenges within the program, resulting in noticeable delays for agricultural employers.
While the H-2A program has faced processing challenges in the past, particularly as application volumes have grown, stakeholders report that delays have become more pronounced since late last year. Members who have recently experienced issues with H-2A processing are encouraged to share their experiences. This feedback will help inform ongoing advocacy efforts to improve program efficiency and reliability.
