Member Opportunity: Value-Added Producer Grant Application Window Now Open
The U.S. Department of Agriculture has opened applications for its Value-Added Producer Grant program. The program is intended to help producers expand marketing opportunities and develop new products. Grants will help support planning activities and capital needs. Extra priority consideration may be given to beginning farmers and ranchers, veterans, smaller family farms and a few other groups. More information and a portal for applications can be found here. Grant recipients can receive up to $50,000 for planning grants and $200,000 for capital grants.
