Four California Farm Bureau Resolutions Pass at AFBF Annual Convention

The American Farm Bureau Federation Annual Convention was held Jan. 9-14 in Anaheim, bringing thousands of attendees to California. California Farm Bureau submitted four policies through its delegate process, all of which were adopted. They included three updates to AFBF water policy and a fourth revising the table wine section to support closing the duty drawback loophole for imported wine. The issue was first raised through the California Farm Bureau’s policy development process last year and is already reflected in California Farm Bureau’s policy book. Inclusion in AFBF policy now enables Farm Bureau advocates in Washington, D.C., to engage lawmakers and federal agencies on this issue.
