Farm Service Agency Announces Updated Schedule for County Committee Elections
Earlier this month, the U.S. Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency mailed ballots around the country for its county committee elections. Producers and landowners are supposed to return ballots to their local FSA offices by Feb. 2. These committees serve a key function in helping promote better relationships and understanding between regional offices and producers. For those interested in serving in future committees, the nomination period typically begins sometime in the summer. More information can be found here.
