Public-opinion survey shows support for farmers
The California Farm Bureau Federation recently asked a professional
polling firm to survey California voters regarding important
issues facing California family farmers and ranchers; WATER
AVAILABLITY and FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE.
Public Opinion Strategies asked 800 registered voters (between
April 22-24, 2001) from throughout California the following
questions (see below). The answers may surprise you.
QUESTION 1: Do you believe that California is headed for
a water crisis similar to the current electrical energy crisis?
